Historical Archive The heritage of Unipol Group

Historical Archive

The Historical Archive of CUBO was established in 2011 to collect, preserve, and promote the historical memory of the Unipol Group, represented by an immense documentary heritage. This heritage, constantly expanding thanks to ongoing research and recovery efforts, consists of a wide variety of materials: documents, prints, photographs, letters, reports, publications, monographs, videos, trophies, and any item deemed interesting or meaningful for historical reconstruction.

Today, the documentary collection includes more than 14,000 archival units and also comprises collections and fonds originating from insurance companies that have merged into the Unipol Group over time. The Archive’s continuous digitization work makes these materials accessible to external visitors as well as to Group employees, through the CUBO Mediateca.

The “Historical Archive” and “Fonds” sections available on the Mediateca’s touchscreen tables offer curated thematic pathways designed to promote exploration and understanding of the entire historical heritage. Upon authorization, visitors may also consult and reproduce physical documents and objects held in the Archive.
