Their songs are so miraculously simple that they become irreplaceable and some, such as 'La descrizione di un attimo' ('The description of a moment') or 'Due destini' ('Two destinies'), have changed the way we listen to music, heightened our attention, without interfering with the volume of the vocals, in a style that is classic but never saccharine, and the winning idea of mixing acoustic and electronic sounds.

Extraliscio. Dance hall punk
- Tuesday 29 August 2017 at 21:15
**Extraliscio** arose from the meeting of Mirco Mariani and Moreno il Biondo at LABOTRON, between mellotron and primordial drum machines where traditional songs are covered with new sounds and new arrangements, original extraliscio compositions are born, tradition merges with experimentation and new, unprecedented and crazy worlds open up. This is how the futurist show orchestra **Extraliscio** was created, making its debut with a rumba rearrangement of a song written by Secondo and Raoul Casadei and an unreleased Cha Cha Cha. Their music also includes polkas and waltzes, a fox trot, a beguine, a cumbia rock and a dixie boogie, mariachi trumpets and songs in the Romagna dialect as part of a project to rediscover and promote traditional dance halls: places that are often forgotten today and that with our 'balera punk' can return to their former glory.
Words and the sea, journey into the unknown.
- Thursday 31 August 2017 at 21:15
The story of a journey: a Mediterranean journey through its coasts, its history and its words. The past and present of different ports intersect on the stage: Athens, Tunis and Palermo, between historical figures and moments of daily life, between literature, theatre and music, through an ancient and present Mediterranean marked by migrations and cultural encounters. Words are the very stuff that routes and coasts are made of on this journey, because nothing tells us more about our common space, our history and our destiny than the continuous mixing of words and languages.
With **Lino Guanciale**, **Simone Tangolo** and **Alessandro Vanoli**.

In the wake of Pellegrino Artusi who revived and ennobled the rural tradition, the music of Daniele di Bonaventura will accompany the culinary reflections, intertwining classical and popular melodies, showing the fruitful exchange that has always taken place between these two worlds.

Beastly... that tour of Italy!
- Wednesday 19 July 2017 at 21:00
With a hilarious and at the same time dramatic interpretation, **Ivano Marescotti** recounts the 1914 Giro d'Italia, the most gruelling race in cycling history with stages of over 400 kilometres. Of the 81 starters in Milan only eight arrived and the winner was Alfonso Calzolari, the only one from Bologna who managed to take the pink jersey under the two towers.
It was 'heroic' cycling, with the riders subjected to unspeakable exertion, as a mirror of a rural and labouring Italy that found in that race the representatives of its own living conditions, on the eve, not by chance, of the cataclysm of the First World War.
By **Maurizio Garuti**, with **Ivano Marescotti** accompanied on the piano by **Daniele Furlati**.
The shows will be held in Sala delle Colonne of 'Leonardo da Vinci' National Museum of Science and Technology in Via San Vittore 21, Milan
Nada and A Toys Orchestra
- Tuesday 13 June 2017 at 21:15
**Nada** is the muse of Italian independent music, a singer-songwriter who is adored by critics and audiences of different ages and backgrounds. An artist who has made her belly and heart the fulcrum around which the urgency of her musical message resolves, which still fascinates and inspires
audiences today. It is therefore no coincidence that she decided - as has already happened in the past with Zen Circus and Criminal Jokers - to involve **A Toys Orchestra**, a band with a solid and prestigious history which, like her, has been able to gain transversal credibility by appealing to the heterogeneity of listeners
from different eras and generations.

Non plus ultra
- Tuesday 20 June 2017 at 21:15
**Raul Cremona** returns to the stage with this new show, a surreal journey into the artistic memory of Raul Cremona which includes bizarre encounters: Jacopo Ortis with his comically Gassmanian speech, born from a childhood spent between matches at the oratory and evenings at the Arena cinema.
During the show Raul Cremona disenchantedly takes us on a carousel ride, at times a whirlwind, at times poetic, reconfirming himself as a storyteller who uses magic as the art of narration. Conjuring, puns, music, gags, this is the Non plus Ultra of Raul Cremona's comedy, to be enchanted once again by his magical wit.
Music performed live by **Omar Stellacci**

Sixty is sexy, Europe is still BEAUTIFUL
- Tuesday 27 June 2017 at 21:15
Europe's opponents use the wrong arguments and rely on questionable figures: but they are full of passion. Yet the friends of the European Union seem timid, almost ashamed to defend a masterpiece of humanity, a shared project that has brought peace and well-being to the continent for a long time: sixty years. **Beppe Severgnini** intends to explain why Europe is our home. It is a house that we must maintain, improve, and defend from the storm of populism, adapt it to the challenge of migration, protect it from bad intentions. At the end, there is a choral, moving and funny moment: '60 good reasons to be European'. Because, let's face it. Our Europe must be celebrated with pride; not hidden with embarrassment. It is still alive and well and, if we believe in it, it can go far.
With **Stefania Chiale**, journalist, **Marta Rizi**, actress, music by **Elisabetta Spada**

The flavour of music. The mystical gulf.
- Tuesday 4 July 2017 at 21:15
In the enchanting landscape of the Amalfi Coast stands a 19th century palace that admirably combines ancient architecture with bright colours: this is how Don Alfonso 1890 introduces itself to visitors. History and tradition are intertwined in this place with novelty and experimentation, not only in the environment, but even more so in the menus of the starred chef **Alfonso Iaccarino**. The menu opens with a phrase by Eduardo De Filippo: 'Only after having studied, explored and respected tradition do we have the right to put it aside, always with the awareness that we are indebted to it, at least for having contributed to clarifying our ideas. If we use tradition as a springboard, we will jump much higher.'
With **Flo** vocals, **Marcello Giannini** guitar, **Marco Di Palo** cello, **Michele Maione** percussion. Host **Massimo Montanari**
Stormy winds. Ideas about Europe and the Italy of the future
- Thursday 6 July 2017 at 21:15
Currently mistreated and overwhelmed by the drama of immigration, Europe has one last chance to avoid imploding. Paradoxically, Donald Trump's elections and Brexit can offer new political opportunities and give new impetus to collaborations between states, for example in the field of security. We cannot be deaf to the anger of those voting in our democracies, we cannot fail to want a Europe that is at the service of its citizens, but nationalism is a dead end and only the common European flag will be able to strengthen our states.
With **Enrico Letta** and **Ferruccio de Bortoli**
