Photography workshop for 13 – 17 years old Bologna, 17 gennaio - 28 febbraio 2025
A 6-lesson course to discover together the role and potential of photography in the world of social media. During the course we will learn how photography is used in social media, what the copyright laws are and how to respect privacy when distributing images.
Guided by the works of contemporary photographers who use social media professionally, we will create a photographic collage and visual storytelling inspired by Instagram feeds.

Photography and Copyright

Guided by the analysis of experts in data protection and cybersecurity, we will learn the rules of copyright in the photographic field.
Photography and Privacy

Privacy laws are increasingly important where the dissemination of images is involved. In this lesson we will learn how to properly distribute photographic images.
New forms of contemporary photography

During this lesson we will discover the work of contemporary authors who use social media as channels for the production and dissemination of their photographic works.
Design and Storytelling
- Friday 21 February 2025 at 17:30 - 19:30
Together we will learn how to design a collective photographic narrative, drawing inspiration from the compositional choices of Instagram feeds.
Feed Creation
- Friday 28 February 2025 at 17:30 - 19:30
During this lesson we will create the “Feed” photographic project by producing and editing the photographic images created by each participant.
