Taken from the book Six Women Who Have Changed the World, Gabriella Greison's heroines are certainly not the only women in science, but are those who paved the way for others with their will and prowess in an openly hostile world consisting of only men. These women gave science the impressive results of their research and the knowledge that it was possible for women to access the world of science. They are wonderful stories, cheerful but not always with happy endings, because they are the true stories of successes and failures. But it is thanks to these icons of the 20th century that other women have struggled a bit less to make their way in the world of knowledge. Paving the way for more and more women who are becoming passionate about science and will feel freer to give us their brilliant minds.
The event is part of the fourth edition of Non ballo da sola, the event promoted and organised by CUBO and the Unipol Group for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
