Celebrating the anniversary of the Liberation of Italy, CUBO proposes a reflection on the relationship between propaganda and animation and on the media as an effective means of communication in all eras.

Screenings of films, documentaries, cartoons will help us learn about the different strategies of the countries involved in the Second World War.

During the Second World War, cartoon characters were also recruited and used for propaganda purposes. Mass Media and Animation experts will introduce us to the colourful world of cartoons, revealing the secrets of the communication strategies hidden behind the figures of Bugs Bunny, Momotaro and many others.
