With illustrations and drawings by **Marta Iorio**, **Benjamin Chaud**, **Octavia Monaco** and **Laborproben**.
The exhibition, staged at the CUBO Mediatheque from 1 to 11 April 2016, presents the complex and fascinating world of illustration through the direct narration of the artists. The images on display in the multimedia installations provide insight and understanding into the artistic journey - individual and unique - that led to its realisation. In collaboration with Cinemovel and Hamelin.
Point, line, surface in nature

Workshop with **Marta Iorio**, illustrator, and **Andrea Basti**, sound video designer.
A journey in the research path of illustrator Marta Iorio, to trace, in the encounter between physical laws and artistic creativity, structures, orders, static and dynamic patterns. Workshop participants enter into the creative process to create a flow of images between art and science, in a journey from illustration on paper to image on video.

A plunge into the figure world of illustrator Benjamin Chaud where anything is possible, an encounter in which the public will have the opportunity to discover his work and his imagery, in a dialogue between words and drawings.

The tools of the trade: **Laborproben**

The artists of the **Laborproben** collective of illustrators meet the students of some schools in Bologna to talk about their journey, that of a work usually considered singular that becomes collective and choral, in a colourful and always dynamic path.

References and echoes in the imagery of **Octavia Monaco** between art and illustration. The author meets the audience to narrate and reveal the sources of the details that warp a meaningful and narrative image, offering the opportunity to grasp and get to know an author's style.
