The importance of communicating

On the occasion of the World Day in Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims, CUBO proposes an awareness-raising event on the importance of choosing the right words to make communication about road accidents effective and incisive.
Led by Giordano Biserni – President of ASAPS – Stefano Guarnieri – Founder of Lorenzo Guarnieri Association – and Luigi Altamura – Commanding Officer of the Verona Local Police Force and ANCI Member in Viabilità Italia – we will see how communication on this issue can be improved and how a paradigm shift is needed to really impact the way the public reacts to news on road fatalities.
Special focus will be devoted to the press that has made ‘Fleximan’ a hero to motorists, helping to undermine the effectiveness of road controls.
