A series of three sessions to address current trends and future perspectives related to learning, skills and work.
Discussions with different guests will address the common theme of the future, aimed at determining which dynamics will have to be faced in scholastic or professional training contexts.

GIG ECONOMY: what is the future for professions?

This session aims to analyse the main dynamics generated by the gig economy and the consequences caused by the rise of new working methods mediated by digital platforms, which are already in place for the intellectual professions.
We will explore the widespread concern that technologies can replace human labour and create unemployment or otherwise devalue workers.

Human and artificial intelligence

Machine learning is an increasingly common issue. From schools to the world of data and information, as increasingly transversal skill are acquired, what role will machines play in the near future?
The meeting aims to critically analyse the interaction between machines and human beings in order to understand whether and how the development of a sustainable relationship between these two worlds can be pursued.

How technology changes learning processes

We will reflectively examine the relationship between humans and technology, in the context of the acquisition of skills and the evolution of learning processes.
How does technology-mediated learning change? What are the risks and opportunities of these tools? We will try to understand how the role of the relationship between teachers and learners can evolve and how to keep the human dimension focused in learning processes.
