The Care of Words
A series of meetings about poetry 09 April – 28 May 2024
Poetry is the search for words that bring with them meaning and flashes of feeling that open the heart to wonder and amazement.
Over three evenings dedicated to listening to words dense with the essential, Franco Arminio will lead us in the rediscovery of the microscopic to make us feel part of the immense, he will make us touch the – dormant – intermittences of the heart, he will force us to face our indifference.
Poetry Reading: Songs of Gratitude

In his poetic reading, **Franco Arminio** will reveal to us the renewing power of his verses which, once decanted, become possibilities of gratitude and an amplified expression of a community experience.
Care For the Gaze

In a time that wants us to be increasingly distracted and increasingly confined behind our small screens, talking to each other and recognizing each other seem to have lost vigour and vitality. The human tools that can reawaken us from this choral torpor are offered to us by **Franco Arminio** through listening to his poetry - understood as care for the gaze - and through his great intuition and "paesology", understood as a form of attention, care and concern for places.
Sacred Minor
Reading / show with Franco Arminio and Livio & Manfredi

Not a theatrical show, not a dialogue with readers, but a bit of all of this intertwined together. The reading show by **Franco Arminio** - accompanied by his sons Livio and Manfredi - could be defined as a happy and thoughtful ceremony: there is space for our painful side and there is space for the desire for happiness. Carried away by the essentiality of the sound (voices and guitar) of the songwriting duo, Franco Arminio's poems soar intense and light, creating - in a sort of collective ritual - an atmosphere in which humour and lyricism blend.
