For the revamped event, Countdown to Researchers’ Night 2023, CUBO – as part of the European project “SOCIETY riPENSAci” – proposes riPENSIAMOli: a two-day programme of initiatives focused on two key figures of Italian literature, Manzoni and Leopardi. The two authors will be presented, on the one hand, from an innovative viewpoint, exploiting the potential of digital as an aid to teaching, and on the other, in an evocative key of staged readings.

The afternoon training course is for tenured professors seeking training credits (registration through the Sofia Portal).

The evening readings (open to the public) are, on the other hand, an opportunity to relive and hear aloud the great compositions that have shaped the history of our culture.

In association with UniBO

La voce di Manzoni

  • Tuesday 19 September 2023 at 21:00 - 22:30

Is it possible to tease out Manzoni's voice from what other authors have written about him? This is what Nicola Bonazzi, director and professor of Italian literature at **UniBO**, tries to discover with actors from **Teatro dell'Argine**, through stage readings focussing on the great Milanese writer, through the words of some illustrious characters: Gadda, Moravia, Goethe. An unusual, engaging and humorous journey will lead the audience to a particular reconstruction of Manzoni's critical acclaim, as has been fixed in the imagination of some key authors of Italian and foreign culture.

With Giovanni Dispenza and Ida Strizzi. Led by Nicola Bonazzi.
