Lost songs
- Tuesday 14 November 2023 at 21:00
A musical project by **Francesco Bearzatti**, an internationally renowned musician, one of the most important sax players on the European jazz circuit, accompanied for the occasion by the young and talented guitarist **Luca Zennaro**.
Bearzatti's lost songs are original compositions that describe certain specific moments of his life: meetings, falling in love, abandonments, flights, travels, fantasies, disappointments, sadness. A highly sophisticated concert, in which the two musicians, constantly connected and listening to each other, fly high and far on the wings of improvisation, as only great artists can.
Marc Ribot Solo
- Tuesday 5 December 2023 at 21:00
A brilliant improviser who straddles many genres and styles, **Marc Ribot** (Newark, 1954) is best known for his long-standing association with the downtown New York band **Lounge Lizard** and his celebrated collaborations with Tom Waits, John Zorn, Elvis Costello and Caetano Veloso.
His performances are unique events in which composition and free forms merge into a continuum of electro-acoustic sounds as they explore the complexity and richness of the music of the Americas, from jazz to Cuban son, rock and rural blues.
This musician integrates the legacies of many musical traditions and at each of his live gigs he offers us his very personal and unpredictable interpretation.
