Intractable Woman

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, CUBO and the Unipol Group are proud to present ‘Intractable Woman‘, a theatrical adaptation of autobiographical extracts and articles written by Anna Politkovskaja, the journalist shot four times and killed on 7 October 2006. Ottavia Piccolo gives a voice to the disorientation, horror, dignity and irony of this defenceless and tenacious lady, with the intense participation of an actor in whom every facet of these values of freedom resonates.
The play forms part of the ‘Non ballo da sola’ [I do not dance alone] show, a programme of initiatives to encourage people to consider the issue of gender violence, now on its third edition and held, for the first time, in Milan.
