Opportunity or responsibility? Privilege or achievement? Defining citizenship is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle in which belonging and identity, rights and duties, nations and individuals fit together. Viewed through the prism of history, the word “citizen” reveals all its colours, sometimes blurred, sometimes contrasting. And it tells us the best-kept secret of the Risorgimento: a handful of citizens of the world, adventurous, bilingual and with more than one passport who built a united Italy. To celebrate the **Festa della Repubblica**, CUBO propose an original discussion on the topic of Citizenship.
Promoted in collaboration with Cronopios, the publishing company Il Mulino and the Libraries and Cultural Welfare Sector of the Municipality of Bologna within the framework of the Pact for Reading, the event is part of Bologna Summer 2022, the calendar of activities promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City of Bologna - Bologna-Modena Tourist Territory.
