It seems that reading is an increasingly difficult act: all the findings tell of a vertical collapse in recent years, especially among teenagers, both in the amount of reading and in the ability to understand and produce written texts. The first step to try and start again is to think about the meaning of reading today, and then to find narratives that are not only valid, but for some mysterious reason capable of deeply touching those between the ages of 14 and 18. An overview that presents and narrates a selection of novels and graphic novels that seem to strike the right chords and create alchemy.
