Robots for the Oceans
Workshop for youth aged 12 to 15 3 - 31 May 2024ragazzi
CUBO offers an educational path where discovery, logic, mathematics and science alternate, thanks to technology that enriches the learning experience by adding interactivity and fun.
On this journey to discover the oceans, we are learning to use technology and robotics to safeguard our environment.
We program the robots so that they can move from one point to another in order to carry out the movement, recovery and recognition of game elements.
We face five missions to discover the inhabitants of the sea and program our Lego Mindstorms in order to solve the challenges of the game.
In programming with Makers Hub
We Know the Sea
- Friday 3 May 2024 at 17:00 - 19:00
A first approach to Lego Mindstorm and programming the robot to take its first steps on the marine-themed testing ground.
The Inhabitants of the Sea
- Friday 10 May 2024 at 17:00 - 19:00
We'll create a program to reach the marine inhabitants who will be within the proving ground.
Let's Clean the Sea
- Friday 17 May 2024 at 17:00 - 19:00
We will start to use the colour sensor to recognise waste found in the sea by emitting sounds depending on the danger of the waste.
Let's Transport Waste
- Friday 24 May 2024 at 17:00 - 19:00
We will build a gripper with Lego and use it to make the robot collect waste found in the sea and have it brought to shore for disposal.
Let's Transform Waste
- Friday 31 May 2024 at 17:00 - 19:00
We will teach the robot to collect waste as it moves around and sort it by transporting it to the appropriate areas based on its type.
