Intermediate course for 13–17 year olds 22 November – 20 December 2024
After the basic Manga technique, CUBO continues with an intermediate level workshop.
The following will then be introduced: inking techniques; narrative structure and mechanisms;
diversification of hatching; yonkoma. The workshop will then conclude with a meeting with Alice Boffa, an Academy teacher and author who has been published in Italy and France and has collaborated with cultural events and television.

Introduction to 4-step narration, elaboration of a yonkoma, narrative mechanisms.
Yonkoma 2

Continuing the study of the four-step narrative and the yonkoma.
Inking 1
- Friday 6 December 2024 at 15:30 - 19:30
Continuing the study of nib inking, kakeami and hatching that make up the vignette.
Inking 2
- Friday 13 December 2024 at 15:30 - 19:30
Continuing the study of nib inking, kakeami and hatching that make up the vignette.
Final meeting with Alice Boffa
- Friday 20 December 2024 at 17:30 - 19:30
Final discussion with Alice Boffa, author specialising in the technique studied during the workshop.
