Kids’ Camps 2018

The new camps for children aged 12 to 17 continue in the summer period, educational opportunities to delve deeper into different topics and themes, following curiosities and passions, to learn while having fun.
Play-makers. The Automation Olympics
- From Monday 25 June 2018 to friday 29 June 2018, from 08:30 to 18:00
Workshop of new technologies.
Muscles, engines and brain for a final challenge. The spaces of CUBO will become a real garage, where radio-controlled racing robots take shape to overcome obstacles and complete a route in the shortest time possible. The workshop ends with a relay race, in which the kids run side by side with their creations to reach the finish line. At the photo finish, dispelling any doubts, there will be self-made wooden polaroids that the kids will be able to take home as a souvenir.
The camp will be held in **Bologna** at the **CUBO Media Library**.
Musical at CUBO. Discovering Broadway
- From Monday 2 July 2018 to saturday 1 September 2018, from 08:30 to 18:00
Artistic workshop.
Experiment with the disciplines of singing, dancing and acting, guided by professionals who will accompany participants in the creation of one or more scenes of a musical with a final performance open to the public. Any child can get involved, having fun and discovering their own interpretative skills.

A world of sounds. Sounds, signs and senses to create
- From Monday 9 July 2018 to friday 13 July 2018, from 08:30 to 18:00
Workshop of new technologies.
Five days dedicated to the discovery of sound: from the physics of sound to its communicative potential.
The kids experiment with the dialogue of sound with other expressive means, from sampling to the construction of instruments, from the composition of a soundtrack to the creation of a visual effect, to give life to their original artistic creation.
The camp will be held in **Bologna** at the **CUBO Media Library**.
Film clip. A story for a video
- From Monday 16 July 2018 to monday 20 July 2020, from 08:30 to 18:00
Video-making, scenography and post-production workshop.
Creative writing, acting and directing workshop for the production of a real video clip. Coordinated by Maura Costantini and Elisa Ambrosi, the kids are catapulted into a real set to build together.
A touch of imagination, fun and learning the technique will lead to creating a real advertising video. It will all be easy and fun: writing a storyboard, choosing music produced by the participants themselves, through to the casting and filming.

On the road to safety. Driving licence in five days
- From Monday 23 July 2018 to friday 27 July 2018, from 08:30 to 18:00
Luigi Patera and the instructors of the driving school Drive System of Bologna will hold a preparatory theory course for A-B
Licences. The workshop prepares the participants for the theoretical examination for their driving licence and provides all the information to present the necessary documentation. Participants will have the opportunity to practice thanks to the driving simulators present in the CUBO Spazio Sicurezza. In the course of the week, students are also invited to become aware of the importance of responsible driving by creating, with the help of Open Group Operators, a TV spot on the subject of road safety.
For youth 14 and up.

MetroCUBO. Measure the city. Interdisciplinary art and architecture project
- From Monday 25 June 2018 to friday 29 June 2018, from 08:30 to 18:00
**Elisa Muliere** painter and illustrator, **Lara Tonello** architect, and the 3D printing experts of WASP, lead participants to develop and create their own architectural vision for the construction of a board game. The children will be encouraged to position themselves within their own world and understand, through the tools provided, the importance of the natural and constructed things that surround them every day. A look beyond, given in a fun and by no means dull way, to understand a profession, a region and to learn how to realise one's own ideas and dreams through the old tools of the trade, new technology and play!
The camp will be held in **San Donato Milanese** at the Unipol Group headquarters in Via della Unione Europea 3.
