Kids’ Camps
Workshops for youth 12 to 17 years old 15 June – 4 September 2015
The kid’s camps are week-long workshops that take place during the summer holidays in Bologna and San Donato Milanese.
Cinemano-lab
- From Monday 15 June 2015 to friday 19 June 2015, from 08:30 to 18:30
The workshop combines technology and manual work, starting from the construction of wooden objects, 'fantastic creatures' designed to be animated mechanically, and then introducing the technique of stop-motion and digital image processing. The creative process, accompanied by the viewing of art and art design short films, gives life to animated screenplays and videos.
With **Nat Wilms**, multimedia artist and **Andrea Zambelli**, designer.
The camp will be held in **Bologna** at the **CUBO** Culture space.
Puppets - Start & Stop
- From Monday 6 July 2015 to friday 10 July 2015, from 08:30 to 18:30
Imagination becomes reality, with characters made from plasticine, silicone and wire. Boys and girls will produce videos using all filming techniques, combining technology and manual skills in the construction of sets and puppets. Are you ready to discover how much work is hidden behind one second of animation?
With **Nat Wilms**, multimedia artist, **Guglielmo Trautvetter**, puppet maker and **Renata Falcone**, theatre educator.
The camp will be held in **Bologna** at the **CUBO** Culture space.
Lights, camera, action!
- From Monday 13 July 2015 to friday 17 July 2015, from 08:30 to 18:30
Acting and directing, framing and video shooting techniques, audio recordings and editing. Participants will study the importance of body movements,
facial expressions, the use of the voice, the relationships between people and objects and the perception of space.
It's a game of roles... and everyone has their own!
With** Nat Wilms**, multimedia artist, **Attila Faravelli**, sound designer, and** Alice Bescapè**, actress.

Double play
- From Monday 13 July 2015 to friday 17 July 2015, from 08:30 to 17:00
Giving voice to Hugo Cabret, rewriting the dialogues of Shrek, speaking in Whale, narrating a Tim Burton short film to the rhythm of rap: everything is possible in this workshop dedicated to creative writing, acting and sound design. Participants will discover the techniques that allow to insert voice and sounds into films and cartoons, making the characters speak in order to give a new meaning to the stories.
With **Felice Invernici**, actor and voice actor, **Carmelo Vazzana**, video-maker and **Renata Falcone**, theatre educator.
The camp will be held in **San Donato Milanese ** at the Unipol Group headquarters in Via della Unione Europea 3.
Stories in colour
- From Monday 31 August 2015 to friday 4 September 2015, from 08:30 to 17:00
Starting from the techniques of narration, illustration and painting, and with an unprecedented use of the overhead projector combined with a camera and video camera, boys and girls will give life to stories in which fantastic characters, made of lights and colours, interact with sequences of films, music and words.
With **Vito Baroncini**, illustrator, **Andrea Basti**, sound and video designer, and **Alice Bescapè**, theatre educator.
The camp will be held in **San Donato Milanese ** at the Unipol Group headquarters in Via della Unione Europea 3.
