I suffer from stress

Stress has forcefully entered our lives, our family, in relationships, at work. Stress, anxiety and imbalance activate internal biological responses that cause a state of tension in our body and mind, affecting emotional and relational experiences. So the aim of the workshop is to accompany participants on a journey of exploration of bodily and psychological reactions in situations of relational and environmental stress. Participants will be provided with sound guidance and easy-to-use personalised exercises, both from a physical and psychological point of view, to recognise and deal with their stressors (sources of stress).

Do you feel upset?

We will learn to recognise the emotions we experience every day and the connection between them: thoughts, actions and the role they have in the perception of stress. We will start from putting emotions into action (dramatisation) through simple improvisation techniques, to identify the most useful actions to "flip" a situation in the right direction.

Do you feel surrounded by strangers?

How many times have we found ourselves thinking whether those around us are "out of synch", unable to connect with others? Through dramatisations and physical exercises we will discover the elements that bind us to others, and what our capacity for connecting is.

Is everything going wrong?

We will do group exercises and games to discuss how to translate goals into action. We will identify what skills are useful to achieving our goals, to recognise whether we lack ideas, or if the difficulty lies in finding the path to implementation.

Do you feel overwhelmed?

  • Saturday 7 October 2023 at 10:00 - 12:30

We will learn, through deep breathing and relaxation exercises, how to listen to the physical sensations of feeling overwhelmed, under pressure. By listening to our body, we will learn how to identify, through educational games and group exercises, what can bring on heaviness and what can lead us to lightness.
