Graphology
The graphic gesture of children and young people 12 October – 16 November 2024
Handwriting is a tool of communication, but it is also a personal expression that becomes the image of an existential journey, and evolves and changes according to the writer’s own evolution and changes; it faithfully records his or her motivations, control, reactivity, the image each person has of himself or herself or wants to give to others, and its silent emotional dialogues are extended over a virtually infinite time. Starting from a standard, each individual organises his or her own “graphic scene” and creates his or her own unique, original expression, like what existential events have made him or her become, because each graphic expression has found a style and a time that is its own. The workshop will provide the basic tools of the handwriting expert to reveal the origins of the graphic gesture according to potential or frustrations, inner and outer experiences-influences, with a focus on children and young people.
