English course for 14-16 year-olds 8 October 2021 - 5 November 2021

CUBO offers a new course for 14-16-year-olds, aimed at improving their language skills starting from a minimum level B1, assessed with an online test by Anglo American School.  The series of classes will allow participants to familiarise themselves with the preparation for the Anglo-Saxon tests (PET and FIRST), offering two parallel lines of study that can also be used by students who have different knowledge levels of the English language.
 

Only one reservation required, valid for the duration of the course from 8 October to 5 November 2021.  In collaboration with the Anglo American School.

Do you speak English? Introduction to the Cambridge Exams

  • Friday 8 October 2021 at 17:30 - 19:30

The first session will introduce the course and present the exams, followed by an educational workshop on correct English pronunciation.

Let's talk in English and improve your vocabulary!

  • Friday 15 October 2021 at 17:30 - 19:30

The second session addresses level-appropriate grammar through theory and practical speaking exercises, followed by simulations and study through examples.

Improve your English for Reading and Comprehension

  • Friday 22 October 2021 at 17:30 - 19:30

During the third session, we continue with level-appropriate grammar addressed through theory and practical exercises (use of English and reading), followed by simulations and study through examples.

Improve your English for Listening Comprehension

  • Friday 29 October 2021 at 17:30 - 19:30

The fourth session includes in-depth study of level-appropriate grammar, theory and exercises, listening practice plus simulations and examples.

It's time to take a test!

  • Friday 5 November 2021 at 17:30 - 19:30

The last session will also focus on grammar, followed by a simulation of the KEY, PET or FIRST exams. The second section includes exercises and listening, reading, speaking practice.
