Cultural Journalism
Journalism workshop 2 March - 13 April 2024
The workshop will aim to give participants basic training in cultural journalism, illustrating the tools of the trade, practical and theoretical approaches and the language of contemporary trans-media storytelling. Furthermore, the workshop will continue the production of a self-produced paper publication containing articles, interviews and materials developed by the workshop participants.
A temporary editorial team will be created which will be able to deal with different forms of storytelling and will delve into journalistic formats such as interviews, short and medium format reviews, critical analysis and news reporting, also through the use of audio language. All contents will have a cultural slant and will be linked to events scheduled in the metropolitan city of Bologna.
Viewing of cultural initiatives in the city of Bologna will be offered, which is necessary to working in the practice of journalism.
When booking the first event, registration will be valid for the entire duration of the course.
