Indispensable in modern number systems and fundamental to discussing infinity, zero plays a central role in mathematical thought – and beyond.
Infinite universes and worlds

Do parallel universes exist? Absolutely, and there are various kinds too! While some may seem extremely abstract and fantastical, others are actually far more relevant than you might think. The Big Bang, quantum mechanics and string theory…But also virtual reality, mythology, symbolic logic, mathematical modelling and comic books take centre stage in a stimulating journey to the frontiers of the known cosmos (and even a little beyond).
