The Way of Emotions
Self-listening and self-awareness to live in harmony 5 October 2021 - 2 November 2021
The course is proposed as a journey, following a theoretical-experiential programme of self-knowledge, self-listening and awareness aimed at discovering your own body and emotional defences to find harmony between the mind, body and soul.
Each meeting will include a theoretical section focused on understanding the human body, emotions and their direct effect on the body, and an experiential component delivered through meditations, interactive exercises, comparisons and creative expressions. The first meeting introduces the course content and the definition of "body" from an anatomical and physiological point of view, identifying its basic structure and understanding how emotions influence it.
Influences on the body: bioenergetics

The second meeting focuses on the topic of emotions with references to the five personality types according to the Bioenergetics of Dr. A. Lowen with a focus on "The five rights of the child" and how these influence character development and structure, followed by an experiential session.
Upper and lower limbs: support, direction, give and take

The third meeting focuses on the upper and lower limbs, considering their structural and psychosomatic characteristics, followed by exercises and simulations.
Abdomen, chest and diaphragm: the exchange with the world

In the fourth meeting, the investigation of the body continues with the lumbar area, abdomen, chest, and diaphragm, exploring their structural and psychosomatic connotations; the second part of the meeting is dedicated to exercises and simulations.
Head and face: our mask

The fifth meeting resumes the analysis of the different parts of the body, focusing on the face and head. This is followed by an experiential session with simulations and practices aimed at helping participants to consolidate the knowledge learned during the theoretical section. The programme concludes with a moment of reflection on the contents of the meetings, helping everyone to recognise the value of their experience.
