English workshop 8 October – 5 November 2022
The course aims to improve the language skills of the participants from level B1+ to B2 in the field of business English, though the practices will not be limited to business English only: activities will be held on subjects such as communication skills, first impressions in presentations and customer relationship management. Moving from one level to another requires the learning of adequate grammar and specific vocabulary.

Business Skills
introduction to the course

During the first meeting, the topics and objectives of the course are introduced and some basic elements of entrepreneurial skills such as telephone etiquette (receptionist and caller) are discussed: intonation, greeting, agreement, support, interruption, confirmation and transfer.
Talking about yourself in a work context

The second meeting opens with simulations for the deepening of the business skills learned and continues with the practice on: first impressions in presentations - company etiquette - and formal and informal language. This is followed by an in-depth study on writing: writing an e-mail (formal style).
Customer Relationship Management

In the third meeting, we offer an in-depth study on the topic of Marketing: the right vocabulary, skills in customer relationship management and writing, or how to write a good presentation.
How to give a presentation
- Saturday 29 October 2022 at 10:00 - 12:30
Simulations and exercises on the skills learned in previous meetings, with a focus on the issue of conflict resolution; review of the grammar necessary for a good presentation.
Speaking Review
- Saturday 5 November 2022 at 10:00 - 12:30
Practice and exercises on all topics and contents covered during the cycle of sessions: adequate writing and language in the workplace, presentations, relationships and conflicts, and formal and informal style. Videos, simulations and communication practice to perfect the acquired level.
