Mindful eating
Experiential Mindful Eating Pathway 25 February – 25 March 2023
Acquiring the steps of Mindful Eating means rediscovering the pleasure of eating the food we like without guilt, freeing ourselves from conditioning relating to nutrition, and gaining freedom from prejudices about weight. The regular practice of mindful eating allows us to observe the relationship between our mood, our mental state and our body and pushes us towards natural changes in our relationship with food, increasing our well-being. The sessions include guided meditations, readings, video presentations and group sharing in order to gain new awareness.

The First Steps of Mindful Eating
- Saturday 25 February 2023 at 10:30 - 12:30
Introduction to the practice of Mindful Eating and to the course consisting of five meetings. Presentation and development of a guided meditation practice to be used during the first week.
Group sharing of the experience.
Learning to Listen to Yourself
- Saturday 4 March 2023 at 10:30 - 12:30
Practices and exercises for developing the skill of observing oneself, one's body and one's sensations.
Presentation and development of a guided body awareness meditation practice to be used during the second week.
Group sharing of the experience.

Mindful eating: we will begin to observe our eating style and develop increasing focus. Presentation and conduct of a guided mindfulness meditation session with food. Group sharing of the experience.
Auto-osservazione e auto-regolazione nel rapporto con il cibo

Impariamo a riconoscere il rapporto tra il nostro umore e il nostro stato mentale nei confronti del cibo. Acquisire il controllo sulle emozioni negative e un atteggiamento non giudicante con il cibo.
Presentazione e svolgimento di una pratica meditativa di consapevolezza sul rapporto cibo-mente e svolgimento del pranzo consapevole. Condivisione in gruppo dell'esperienza.
L'atteggiamento non giudicante verso il cibo

We will learn how to eat mindfully to nourish the body, mind and spirit and how to choose enjoyable and nutritious foods to obtain satisfaction at the table.
