IMPRESÆ DA RACCONTARE 2017 (Recounting enterprise)

Unipol Group Companies in the history and future of Italy

​​​​​On 4 September 2017, the CUBO Historical Archive inaugurated its first exhibition entitled IMPRESÆ DA RACCONTARE. Le compagnie del Gruppo Unipol nella storia e nel futuro dell'Italia (Unipol Group companies in the history and future of Italy): an exhibition which uses original documents to recount the important events of the companies that have joined the Group and at the same time highlighting the role they played in the emergence of firstly the unified State and then the Republic.

Original materials from the CUBO Historical Archive are on display, including the unpublished series of the first minutes of the four main Companies, enriched with materials from Fondiaria and SAI. An insurance workstation from the early 1900s has also been reconstructed. The exhibition includes a video recounting the main initiatives and projects from the Group's last three years, from 2014 to 2016.

The exhibition project was enriched by a multimedia app that can be downloaded from the  Apple Store and Google Playwhich includes an audio guide of the exhibition that visitors can enjoy and complements the content of the exhibition.

On 18 September at the Mediateca, CUBO organised an exhibition presentation meeting entitled IL GRUPPO UNIPOL SI RACCONTA, Fare impresa assicurazione in Italia dal 800 a oggi (THE UNIPOL GROUP IN HISTORY, the Insurance business in Italy from the 1800s to today): a reflection on the history of the Unipol Group and the country with Giuseppe Berta, professor of contemporary history at the Bocconi University of Milan, Enea Mazzoli, honorary chairman of the Unipol Group and Alberto Federici, Group Corporate Communication and Media Relation Director.​
