CUBO presents, for
das - dialoghi artistici sperimentali 2019 (experimental artistic dialogues 2019),
its project on Phantomology (a term coined by the Polish writer and futurologist Stanislaw Lem in his Summa Technologiae of 1964), curated by Marco Mancuso, Daniela Tozzi and Ilaria Bignotti.
The audience is asked to reflect on the power of technological change and its impact on everyday life in terms of technology, society, architecture and relationships.
The exhibition aims to look at the environment from four different perspectives:
- The Technological environment and the flow of data above us, that overwhelms us, as encapsulated by the STANZA installation.
- The Sub-Atomic environment beneath us, of which everything is formed, is addressed by the Russian duo in their live Force Field performance.
- L'ambiente Fenomenologico che ci circonda, il livello invisibile in cui siamo immersi e all'interno della rassegna è stato affrontato mediante il panel Un'energia invisibile. Immersioni e Fenomeni dell'arte contemporanea.
- The Phenomenological environment that surrounds us, the invisible strata in which we are immersed, is addressed by the panel An invisible energy. Immersion and Phenomena in Contemporary Art.
- The Urban and Architectural Environment, its structural and social complexity, through the talk The Architectural and Sociological Environment: Sensitive Data. New urban, cultural and social structures.
The artists asked to express these four concepts are media artist Stanza and science artists Evelina Domnitch and Dmitry Gelfand in dialogue with Ugo La Pietra, a historical figure in Italian radical language, architecture, urban culture and design.

immersion / interactivity, digital isolation / shared experience, networking of experienced potential / relationship and osmosis between physics and technology, return to man in overcoming our biological boundaries, moving towards an interpenetration of energy, species, emotion and space.
