CUBO LIVE – places, ideas, voices, events – is a series of live shows promoted by CUBO, the corporate museum of the Unipol Group, throughout Italy in especially picturesque locations.
The historic location of the Gardens of Piazza Viera de Mello in Bologna will feature a range of Italian song-writing, jazz and classical music. Summer evenings under the Bologna sky for all those with are curious, passionate and enjoy listening to music in the company of others.
The most lyrical and imaginative of today's pianists combines improvisation and composition, classical and jazz, for a programme that crosses every genre in the name of great music. In his unique adventures in sound, Enrico Pieranunzi combines jazz and classical music: from collaborations with jazz luminaries such as Chet Baker to works focusing on Bach and Gershwin. In the IMPROclassica! programme, this magical combination is given shape by Luca Bulgarelli's double bass and Mauro Beggio's drums. All, as always... Pieranunzi style!
