Martina Nova's performance stages a body and a cage that merge, intertwine and collide, in a dance that is about acceptance, overcoming limits and self-discovery. The manipulation of the metal cage that compresses the figure of a woman makes it possible to represent a powerful symbolism about the liberation of the body from constraints and provokes a sense of emancipation and freedom in the audience.
