John Patitucci, one of the most virtuous upright and electric bassists in the world, has written the history of jazz for the past 30 years, first alongside Chick Corea and then in Wayne Shorter's legendary quartet. Brian Blade is one of the most sought-after drummers of the new millennium, and another band mate of Chick Corea and Wayne Shorter. Chris Potter is the jazz saxophonist par excellence who musically grew up in Dave Holland's band to then devote his career to becoming a leading soloist in a thousand other musical projects.
