An eclectic and sophisticated singer-songwriter, Maria Antonietta - born Letizia Cesarini - experiences music as an act of freedom, a shared language and a way to flourish.
Having developed a passion for poetry and reading from the outset, she wrote her first book Seven Unforgivable Girls, which pays a tribute to some female figures who inspired her and guided her throughout her artistic and personal journey.
For "Non Ballo da sola" she will be performing an acoustic concert - with keyboard, cello and baritone guitar - alternating words and music and references to those free and independent women who have influenced her songs in secret and mysterious ways.
It is a highly intense and lyrical musical reading, in other words. A celebration of women's pride, a hymn of love and sisterhood dedicated to her role models.
The event is part of the fifth edition of Non ballo da sola, the series of events promoted and organised by CUBO and the Unipol Group to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
