Pasolinian Types
Entertainment, readings and songs 11 - 25 October 2022
Pasolinian Types is an event of entertainment, readings and songs in which Davide Rondoni and David Riondino – authors of a Rai radio program of the same title – take a journey inside and outside the controversial and prophetic figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini.
We will study his lyrics, poetic and otherwise, the words of the people who attacked him, and the songs that somehow still arouse the presence and voice of Pasolini types among us.
Rondoni and Riondino offer a personal portrait of the poet and intellectual born in 1922 and still a source of reflection and discussion, alternating between emotion and irony.
Only love, only knowledge counts

In a sort of dialogue between words and music in "Il pianto della scavatrice", with speeches from Riondino's songs on current events, it emerges how the ideologues and intellectuals of the past - as well as of the present - think they know without loving, while Pasolini's passion for the present and for the current reality was prominent. There was a strong awareness of being at a turning point in history that demanded love and knowledge acted in the first person, mixing with life and society. Fearlessly.

Something is always missing
- Tuesday 18 October 2022 at 21:00 - 22:00
Readings and poetic-musical exchanges between David Riondino and Davide Rondoni with digressions between Eliot, Ungaretti and Salgari that focus on the permanence of something sacred that deserves honour and reverence, as an alternative to the consumer society and the great homologation.
But where is the Holy Face? In children? In the working-class children? In young workers? In the rural nature? In the distant landscapes of Africa? Or in extreme experiences?
With David Riondino and Davide Rondoni.
I am an endless cry

Pasolini's poems and songs, some chosen from texts by Davide Rondoni: "Lettera in versi quasi Pasoliniana a un/una giovane gender free".
Today, in the age of presumed identities, profiles, debate on human nature, Pasolini's escape from ideological and gender schematisations is even more prophetic.
