Linha de Passe

  • Tuesday 14 February 2023 at 21:00 - 22:30

Linha de Passe is a transcultural project giving rise to a surprising organic nature that reveals how seemingly distant expressive worlds actually have many elements in common.
Melancholy, lyricism, fatalism, and other more exquisitely lexical and melodic elements can be found in musical Brazilian traditions, as well as in Neapolitan music and jazz. And it is precisely these expressive universes that inspire the repertoire that the great Neapolitan performer Maria Pia De Vito tackles together with her two travelling companions par excellence.

Don Karate

  • Tuesday 21 March 2023 at 21:00 - 22:30

Don Karate is a project by Stefano Tamborrinofrom Florence, one of the most sought-after and appreciated jazz drummers in Europe. Allergic to labels and limitations of any kind, Tamborrino takes his technical and compositional experience accumulated over years of concerts and collaborations around the world and mixes it with hip-hop, cinematic melodies, overlapping them with broken grooves, grafting them with electronics, creating completely new, warm, unexpected, unpredictable sound solutions.

As Madalenas

  • Tuesday 18 April 2023 at 21:00 - 22:30

The duo As Madalenas is an act of love of Cristina Renzetti and Tati Valle for Brazilian auteur music. The different nuances of samba, bossa and Carioca folklore are addressed in an overlapping of Portuguese and Italian. In the set lists of the two sensitive performers, unfailing Brazilian authors (Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso and many other fundamental songwriters of Brazilian popular music) are flanked by no less exciting original compositions.
