Filippo de Pisis. The soul of things, which will unveil your secret

As part of the Filippo de Pisis monographic exhibition. The birth of a painting in progress at CUBO’s two venues in Porta Europa and Torre Unipol, a four-part exchange aimed at exploring new paths between cultural and temporal geographies, visual fusions and iconographic comparisons arising from de Pisis’ great painting.
With Maddalena Tibertelli de Pisis, director of the Maestro’s archive, Massimo Tantardini, publisher and essayist, coordinator of the visual arts department at the SantaGiulia Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia and director of the magazine IO01 Umanesimo Tecnologico, and Mauro Zanchi, art critic, essayist and artistic director of BACO in Bergamo.

**Maddalena Tibertelli de Pisis** will analyse ‘The Poetry of Images: the Life of Filippo de Pisis to the Present Day’, through a focus on the stages in his life and the evolution of his painting.
**Massimo Tantardini** will talk about the ‘de Pisis crossover’, interpreting the artist's phenomenological painting with forays into other disciplines.
**Mauro Zanchi** will present a reading entitled ‘de Pisis and the paradoxes of disproportion’, analysing those Depisisian objects that, in their imbalance with reality, become indicators and cues for space-time journeys and unexpected perpectives in his ways of painting – or rather of understanding – things.
