CUBO presents a videodance camp for kids.
The camp includes a comprehensive programme designed to help participants create a short virtual reality video for public viewing. Starting from motion capture techniques used mainly in cinema and gaming, participants will be actively involved in the creation of their own 3D Avatars and the virtual environments in which the digital characters will interact. Within this context, the work on the body will refer to mocap shooting techniques, analysing both the artistic and the procedural aspects. We will look at the basic elements of immersive technology and the specific aspects of creating a choreography that is functional to the VR spectator's point of view.
Participants are not required to have any dance training or experience, only to feel comfortable moving and interacting with others.
In collaboration with ZED Festival
When booking the first event, registration will be valid for the entire duration of the course
