This group meeting/discussion led by Claudio Nader, an expert in gender studies at the Osservatorio Maschile, is meant for us to investigate, understand and explore the world of gender stereotypes at work and in our private lives; to stimulate and encourage listening, facilitate the sharing of different viewpoints, and to debunk clichés, from the most 'harmless' ('Fashion is for women') to the most 'problematic' ('There are men's jobs and women's jobs').
We come together to explain to each other and ourselves why we are so attached to stereotypes, analysing the fine lines that link the relationship between stereotype, prejudice and discrimination.
