Dedicated to three-year senior secondary school students, the DODICI project. A calendar of Images and Memories that intends to explore and enhance Unipol's Heritage through an annual desk calendar, created using historical material from the company archive. Each month of the calendar recounts a different aspect of the company's history, with a selection of archive images and explanatory texts contextualising significant moments, corporate developments and historical events that have helped to shape Unipol's identity.
The project offers students the opportunity to develop skills in document management, historical research, visual communication and team collaboration, all while exploring the history of a major Italian company.
Designed and certified as a P.C.T.O. [School-to-work transition programme] course, 'DODICI' is part of the training proposal 'At business school. Italy in our museums and corporate archives', created thanks to the collaboration between Museimpresa with Heritage Hub - LIUC and the Archives of Industrial Cinema and Business Communication, with the aim of disseminating basic knowledge of the history of Italian business and its values, raising awareness of the museums and corporate archives that bear witness to enterprise, the evolution of the country and the aspects of business culture, and enabling students to acquire the cross-cutting skills they need to orient themselves in their studies and choice of future profession.
The course consists of 25 certified hours to be completed over a total of six months, divided as follows:
6 HOURS THEORETICAL PHASE: activities to be carried out online that will help students to learn about the evolution of the Italian industrial system and explore various aspects related to Italian business history and cultural management issues.
15 HOURS EXPERIENTIAL APPLICATION PHASE: visit and project activity at the CUBO museum and the Unipol company historical archive in Bologna. Development of the final project 'DODICI. A Calendar of Images and Memories'.
4 HOURS CLOSING EVENT: with the option of attending in person or remotely via online connection.
