Coding the beats

Music programming workshop for 12-16-year-olds 11 February – 25 March 2022

CUBO in Unipol Tower – Via Larga 8, Bologna
11 Feb 2022 - 25 Mar 2022

Coding the beats” is a workshop delivered over six sessions aimed at those who want to learn about an innovative and experimental way to make music and explore the world of live music coding, in which the musician uses a real programming language to create original material in real time.

Participants will actively work on original musical composition and performance projects, alongside cultural aspects, with moments dedicated to the history of electronic music and electro-acoustic composition.

Students do not need to have specific programming skills or musical skills to participate.

In collaboration with Roberto Agostini and Leo Izzo.
