Both silent portraits and portraits immersed in sounds or noises can be found
within the exhibition ‘Renaissance. The person and his place’ and in the presence of the artist Matilde Piazzi, Eleonora Frattarolo will discuss some portraits that have marked the history of painting and photography with their strength and intensity. A journey through the views and words of which the portrait is a messenger and summoner, on the edge of a silence that becomes sound.
During this itinerary of meaning and style, Roberto Paci Dalò will present Zeitlos, a work of sound from which suggestions arise linked to the same etymology of the word ‘person’.
