Drawing workshop for young people aged 13 to 17

After the summer youth camp, the introductory manga drawing programme continues. The course starts with inking techniques, introducing the basic professional nibs—G-pen, Maru-pen and Saji-pen—and covers the creation of modulated line art, basic textures, and hatching and speed effects.

Finally, the framing gains a sense of three-dimensionality through the study of high- and low-angle views, dynamic poses and the line of action.

The course will be certified by the Academy upon completion of the basic level and the first module of the intermediate level of the preparatory course “Manga School”.
