Creating with artificial intelligence
Creative storytelling and digital fabrication workshop for young people aged 13 to 17
The workshop is a creative storytelling journey where artificial intelligence does not replace imagination, but puts it to the test. The course is built around two objects: semiotic dice and the crazy clock. For the dice, instead of standard symbols, each participant distils—with the help of AI—thirty-six signs that express their own imagination. Each participant will end up with a unique set of six dice, designed to be rolled, mixed and interpreted. In contrast, the crazy clock does not mark the time that passes, but the time that counts. Each participant selects twelve significant moments and transforms them into illustrations generated and refined using AI.
Assembled and printed on unconventional materials, it becomes a circular self-portrait that continues to tell its story—hanging on the wall—long after the workshop has ended.

Dice tamers
- Friday 30 October 2026 at 17:30 - 19:30
It begins with a simple, age-old question: what does it really mean to tell a story? A free-flowing brainstorming session, with dice rolled around a “campfire”, improvised stories and images strung together. Initial guided prompting experiments—because clarity, not haste, is needed between your mind and the screen. The event concludes by drawing the first faces of the dice.
Taming the chaos
- Friday 6 November 2026 at 17:30 - 19:30
The first faces, now engraved, are brought to the room: they are laid out and examined together, as if in a small collective studio. Some faces are chosen, others discarded, and their style refined, until all 36 faces are complete. The chaos of initial ideas becomes a recognisable system of signs.
Tiny banana, I’ll peel you in three moves
- Friday 13 November 2026 at 17:30 - 19:30
We move on to the crazy clock: everyone chooses the twelve hours of their day that deserve to be told. A more technical and playful session dedicated to rapid image editing—generating, correcting and refining in just a few decisive moves, and no more.
Polishing and a common thread
- Friday 27 November 2026 at 17:30 - 19:30
The polishing stage: the 36 faces of the dice and the 12 graphics of the clock are refined, visual consistency is checked, and the files are prepared for printing and engraving. And the common thread linking the two projects is drawn — dice and clock describe the same person from two different angles: chance and time.
Assembly, feedback and play
- Friday 4 December 2026 at 17:30 - 19:30
All the finished pieces arrive—now engraved and printed—ready to be assembled: the dice and clock take their final shape. Then the feedback: everyone explains the reasons behind their choices to the others. And finally, you play—you roll the custom dice and improvise the first stories born from your own visual alphabet.
