Submerged Cathedral - live soundtracks Ore 21:00

​Exclusively for the 3rd edition of das – dialoghi artistici sperimentali (experimental artistic dialogues), Massimo Carozzi provided a live soundtrack to brand new images, with the video material recorded at CERN in Geneva by the collective ZimmerFrei during the creation of “Almost Nothing”, presented at CUBO in a brand-new montage.

Anna de Manincor and the ZimmerFrei collective are the other side of the coin from the classic films dedicated to CERN, a flagship centre for the world’s scientific community. Leaving Higgs Boson and gravitational waves in the background, they highlight the actual humans working in this labyrinth of corridors, wires and high-precision metal parts in search of “almost nothing”.  Subtitled “CERN – Experimental City”, Almost Nothing looks sharply, sometimes humorously, at the life of this rather special community, a true human and social experience whose actors seem to re-invent the rules of operation every day.
