The celebration of a city’s patron saint is a very ancient ritual. We’ll look into its origins and discover meanings and fun facts through a discussion on the link between tradition, identity and roots, to mark the festival of the Patron Saint of Bologna.
Maria Giuseppina Muzzarelli and Maurizio Bettini accompany us on a journey that takes us from humble beginnings to the present day, inviting us to reflect on the concept of memory, precious cultural experiences but also heritage that is not “inherited”, but taught and constructed step by step.
