The People of Women

​The People of Women highlights the relationship between the growing social affirmation of women and the increase in male violence for the first time, phenomena that are described in the film as directly proportional, through the voice of Dr. Marina Valcarenghi, a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst who was a journalist in the past. However, the more the world of women, still inevitably insecure, comes to the fore, the more the intolerant violence of part of the male world escalates. It’s a phenomenon that goes against what is generally assumed even in science.

The event is part of the sixth edition of Non ballo da sola, the event promoted and organised by CUBO and the Unipol Group to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
