The cello has a new face thanks to the Colombian artist Santiago Cañón-Valencia, who has blown away both the classical and international pop scene with his overwhelming solo performances.

The young artist has won awards at the world’s most prestigious competitions for his virtuosity. His next offering is a programme that is anything but ‘canonical’, combining classics and transcriptions of Latin American songs, dances and classics, alongside his own original compositions.

The splendid ballroom of the Hotel Principi di Piemonte is the setting for the fourth edition of CUBO LIVE – places, ideas, voices, events –  the touring series of live performances promoted by CUBO, the corporate museum of the Unipol Group.​
