Lights of Jazz

Lights of Jazz, the event that lights up CUBO in Torre Unipol with lights, music and emotions to the sound of jazz, in collaboration with Bologna Jazz Festival.
Two dates and three big names in the Italian jazz scene, spanning between instrumental and vocal, experimental and classical, virtuosity and improvisation with one common denominator: intense and engaging interaction with the audience.

A meeting of the very best with two great virtuosos in each of their instruments, culminating in the recent album 'Il gatto e la volpe' (EGEA - 2021) in which the cross-cutting music for which they are both famous allows them to express themselves with ease in the world of jazz, classical and Latin American music. The eclecticism of the two musicians makes it possible for them to improvise with high communicative interplay, in search of musical poetics that bring the cultured and popular repertoire together.

Patrizia Laquidara for a live show on multiple strings, where acoustic instruments (classical, acoustic, electric guitar and electric bass) dialogue with voice, the absolute protagonist along with the songs. For the audience, it will be like entering a person's house and visiting their rooms. Each of those rooms has a different emotion, where each visitor can discover a story and find something familiar.
A performance that seems to want to embrace the whole world and bring it together in a unique, intense and harmonious song, a journey into the author's song that she holds dear, where rather than accompanying music, it resonates with Laquidara's voice.
