In its eighth edition, das-experimental artistic dialogues presents UNI, DOUBLE, COLLECTIVE. Identity in the Age of Metaverse, a dynamic project curated by Federica Patti and Claudio Musso, in which LaTurbo Avedon, Auriea Harvey, Kamilia Kard and Mara Oscar Cassiani are engaged in leading the spectator along a changing path of declination of the self in the era of Metaverse.

During this event, live from LaTurbo Avedon’s virtual studio, it will be possible to explore their artistic research by chatting in real time and interfacing with the environment interactively. LaTurbo Avedon often use audience interaction to compose digital works: for the Materia series, of which the works in the exhibition are a part, they inserted a survey into the creative flow to compose the aesthetics of places and the figure of their avatar.

LaTurbo Avedon (they/them) are avatar artists making art and curatorial projects. Celebrated for their work in digital and virtual art created in online spaces, LaTurbo challenge traditional notions of authorship and existence in art, using their fictional status as a lens to explore self-expression in the digital age. Their artistic practice ranges from the creation of virtual environments to digital sculpture and video art, often exploring themes such as virtual identity, the aesthetics of cyberspace and the evolving relationship between humans and technology.
