​To celebrate the holiday of Bologna’s patron saint, CUBO proposes a reflection on the figure of Saint Petronius and the traditions associated with his veneration.

For all Bolognese, Saint Petronius is a role model for civil and religious representatives because he forged links and relationships to make the city grow and prosper. Centuries later, this vision of him still holds true, defying current trends towards fragmentation and social isolation.

**Fabio Isman**, **Franco Cardini** and **Antonio Paolucci** take the audience on an exciting journey through history, discovering the origins of the 'New Jerusalem' and some of the relics found in the city.
Franco Cardini is an Italian historian, essayist and blogger specialising in the study of the Middle Ages. Fabio Isman is a journalist dealing mainly with art and culture. In recent years he has been particularly interested in the clandestine looting of archaeology in Italy. Antonio Paolucci is an Italian art historian, former Minister of Cultural and Environmental Heritage and Director of the Vatican Museums.
