CUBO LIVE – places, ideas, voices, events – is the new series of live shows promoted by CUBO throughout the country in especially picturesque locations.

One of these is the Porta Europa Gardens in Bologna. An oasis of hanging greenery enclosed in a Unipol Group office building with a large geometric design and spacious lawn areas.

Gilda Buttà, who was Maestro Morricone’s official interpreter, performing all his soundtracks and playing his entire piano production, meets Cesare Picco, a refined and cultured improviser, to give life to a musical project of great emotion, poetry and sonic power.
In the repertoire chosen by the two performers from the endless catalogue of music written for the cinema, we find both masterpieces that have become timeless hits and rare musical gems composed for lesser-known films.
